The new deck on Louie’s boat consisted of 1/2 inch plywood on the original frames. The plywood was coated with two coats of 2 oz matt. Then white waxed gel-coat was rolled on providing the necessary non-skid. The new cabin was modernized from the old design and presented less windage with three rounded ports on each side. The cabin left enough room for a generous cockpit with enough room to lie down on the benches.
